A family wedding brings her home. Honeycomb Beach offers her a second chance.

Sarra Wilcox dreams of songwriting success, but Los Angeles keeps letting her down—an unreliable boyfriend, an agent with nothing but bad news, and a growing feeling that she’s losing her way.

When her father announces he’s getting married—to a woman Sarra has never met—she’s summoned back to Honeycomb Beach, the small Florida beach town she once called home. The thought of facing her estranged sister and the family she’s drifted from is overwhelming, but her best friend offers her a quiet place to stay on a cozy houseboat called My Blue Agave. Sarra agrees, telling herself it’s just for the wedding.

But Honeycomb Beach has a way of softening old hurts. As Sarra reconnects with the shoreline she grew up on, she begins to see her family—and herself—with new clarity. A buried family secret rises to the surface, her insecurities demand attention, and she’s gently pushed toward second chances and new beginnings she never expected.

Set against a warm coastal backdrop, My Island Getaway is a heartfelt women’s fiction novel about family, forgiveness, and finding the courage to define your life in your own way. It’s the perfect start to a coastal series filled with heart, hope, and the magic of coming home.

Perfect for readers who love beach towns and women’s fiction novels—especially fans of Pamela Kelley, Judith Keim, Grace Greene, Cindy Nichols, and Jan Moran.

I got book 2 first from there I went to book3 I wish I had read in sequence, but it was an awesome series. I highly recommend but suggest read in sequence. I will next time.
I absolutely loved this story! This was a really lovely, intimate read about love and self-discovery. I melted right into the main character, Sarra Wilcox — the author did a brilliant job creating a character I wanted to be friends with at the end of the book. A perfect, anytime book for women-fiction lovers!
